Your Role

As a Technical Analyst at Murex, you will play a crucial role in providing structured technical support for multiple Murex applications and ecosystems to both internal and external clients. You will be responsible for resolving issues, identifying root causes, and improving overall team service. Collaborating closely with application users and third-party providers, you will ensure optimal support levels while continuously learning new technologies, languages, and methodologies.


  • Develop Expertise: Gain technical and functional expertise with Murex product solutions through onboarding, on-the-job experience, and learning opportunities.
  • Manage Requests: Prioritize and manage incoming requests from multiple departments, providing regular progress updates.
  • Documentation: Document support processes, releases, and troubleshooting guides in coordination with other teams.
  • Lifecycle Ownership: Take lifecycle ownership for problems.
  • Technical Support: Perform technical support fixes through development and scripting.
  • System Monitoring: Provide daily system monitoring, production issue troubleshooting, and end-user issue resolutions.
  • Environment Support: Support and configure production environments.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with infrastructure teams, such as server, network, database, and development teams, for installation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

Your Profile

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science from a reputable university.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in technical domains.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java (knowledge of C, C#, and Python is a plus).
  • Database Skills: Proficiency in SQL query building and performance analysis (Sybase and Oracle administration skills are a plus).
  • Operating Systems: Power user skills in Linux (Bash scripting is a plus).
  • Learning Ability: Capacity to continuously learn in an evolving technology domain.
  • Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure in operations and support roles.
