Job Description

HRus Partners (license number 414) is pleased to represent on an exclusive basis our esteemed client specializing in satellite communications and marine equipment, as they are seeking a Solutions Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to understand their technical needs and challenges.
  • Design and deliver customized technical solutions according to client specifications.
  • Perform product demonstrations to illustrate features and answer any questions the customer might have.
  • Work with the Sales and Product teams to ensure all Client feedback is accounted for during product enhancement.
  • Develop detailed technical documentation and guides for both clients and internal use.
  • Conduct market research on emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices to advise our product development strategy and maintain our competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with the engineering teams and influence based on client feedback and market insights to support building new product and feature capabilities.
  • Work with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and top-performance products and services of the company by enforcing tough testing and validation conditions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Previous experience within the maritime or commercial shipping industries would be highly desirable.
  • Skilled in delivering technical capabilities through commercial presentations.
  • Very familiar with the design and implementation of IT systems infrastructure.
  • Competency in making proposals tailored to the technical requirement of the customer.
  • Able to work on solutions architecture with hands-on, real-world experience.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage one’s schedule, priorities, and travel for customer engagements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Dependable and diligent. Proficiency in English.
