About Hyperio

Hyperio is on the lookout for a passionate Junior Systems Engineer to join our expanding team of technologists. In this role, you will work closely with our DevOps team to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and use scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate operational tasks. You’ll also be involved in the design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, support application deployment and monitoring on Azure cloud platforms, and efficiently troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate routine operational processes with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Assist in designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
  • Support the deployment and monitoring of applications on cloud platforms like Azure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.
  • Enhance communication and streamline workflows with cross-functional teams.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging DevOps technologies.
  • Contribute to the documentation of systems, processes, and configurations.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Strong team player with a ‘can do’ and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Eligibility for the HRDA scheme for graduates.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as Azure Fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
