Job Title: IT Systems Administrator – Financial Services Provider

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Type: Full-time

Our client, a well-established financial service provider based in Cyprus, is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to join their team.

About the Role

As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT systems, including software, hardware, and communications. You will assist internal users with their IT requests and issues and, depending on your experience, initiate and manage IT projects. You will also play a role in IT security management and have responsibilities such as administering Active Directory, Domains, and Office 365.


  • Maintain IT systems.
  • Provide professional IT support to internal users locally and overseas.
  • Perform IT service desk duties, including issue resolution, office hardware management, and processing leavers and joiners.
  • Maintain critical technology systems such as email, domains, telephony, LAN, Wi-Fi, PCs, laptops, printers, backups, and local servers.
  • Analyze, compare, and purchase IT equipment and related services.
  • Ensure telecommunication systems are always functional.
  • Participate in ongoing activities to enhance the IT infrastructure.
  • Manage generators, UPS, and electricity supply matters.
  • Identify, propose, and implement system, procedure, and service improvements.
  • Administer Active Directory, Domain, and Office 365 environments, and third-party on-premises and SaaS applications.
  • Lead and collaborate on projects to enhance the operating environment and IT security.
  • Actively monitor and enforce IT security policies and manage security systems.
  • Assist with gathering evidence for IT audits and periodic reviews related to IT systems governance, user accounts, and access.


  • Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience, including working as a Service Desk Technician.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Windows and MAC systems and clients.
  • Experience administering and managing antivirus consoles.
  • Experience administering and managing WDS/MDT servers.
  • Basic network experience with switches and VLANs.
  • Experience with Active Directory and knowledge of Azure AD, managing GPOS, DNS, and DHCP.
  • A proactive approach to learning, including self-study and mentoring from senior colleagues.
  • Knowledge of monitoring system solutions.
  • Unquestionable integrity and honesty.
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to support the team in all aspects of the role.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.

It Would Be a Plus If You Have

  • 1-2 years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator in a Microsoft-heavy environment.
  • Experience managing Windows Servers in an enterprise environment.
  • Telephony management experience (PBX, DID, Trunking).
  • Practical experience managing and ideally integrating IT security tools and systems.
  • Knowledge of firewall administration and networking.
  • Experience administering cloud and hybrid environments (O365, Azure AD).
  • Ability to troubleshoot Linux systems and clients.
