Job Title: IT Support Technician – Forex Company

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a well-established Forex company, we are looking for an enthusiastic University Graduate to join their IT team as an IT Support Technician.


  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support within the organization.
  • Efficiently use the ticketing system to prioritize urgent and non-urgent tasks.
  • Provide 1st line support to all users across the organization globally.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
  • Repair and replace damaged computer and network components.
  • Ensure the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and security software.
  • Assist users with computer and network device challenges.
  • Regularly maintain and update technical documentation.
  • Test new hardware and software before full-scale installation.
  • Provide IT support for small projects and office/desk moves.
  • Maintain asset registers for all IT assets, including telecoms, to track all IT assets.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact favorably with a wide variety of people.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong reasoning skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 and 11; knowledge of Mac OS and Linux is a plus.
  • Familiarity with O365 and antivirus systems.
  • Ability to quickly diagnose and fix problems.
  • Capability to follow through and document issues and resolutions.
  • Experience in replacing hardware for desktops and laptops.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rota with the rest of the team.
