Essential Tasks

  • Provide first and second-level technical support to corporate customers and end users offsite, addressing issues related to computer systems, hardware, or software via phone, web tools, and email.
  • Deliver first and second-level technical support onsite for corporate customers, including cabling, networking, installation, configuration, and system testing for both hardware and software.

Peripheral Tasks

  • Forward new service requests to the appropriate department.
  • Assist in quoting new service requests.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of practical IT and/or helpdesk experience.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting the following systems:
    • Extensive knowledge and experience with operating systems (Windows 8+, Mac).
    • Familiarity with collaboration software (Skype, Slack, GSuite, ZohoDesk, and others).
    • Experience with networking technologies (switches, routers, wireless networks, servers, virtual machines).
    • Proficiency in backup software and solutions.
    • Experience with NAS and SAN systems (Qnap, Synology).
    • Knowledge of DHCP, IP routing, port forwarding, VPN, and firewall concepts.
    • Experience in configuring network cabinets and hardware infrastructure.
    • Ability to configure, support, and maintain data center infrastructure.
