Job Title: IT Service Support Professional

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus

About the Company

Our client, a CySEC-regulated investment services firm and family investment office, is seeking a skilled IT Service Support professional to join their Nicosia office. This role is crucial in providing top-notch IT support and ensuring smooth IT operations within the firm.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

Day-to-Day IT Support

  • Providing high-priority support to VIP users.
  • Offering off-premise IT support for events and at various venues.

1st Level Support and Maintenance

  • Handling network incidents, changes, and implementations.
  • Managing hardware and software incidents, changes, and implementations.
  • Overseeing collaboration solutions and systems, including incidents, changes, and implementations.
  • Maintaining IT assets inventory, lifecycle management, including leased or owned ICT equipment.
  • Proposing and ordering IT-related devices, peripherals, and services.
  • Managing the printing landscape.
  • Overseeing local servers and applications, if applicable.
  • Reporting, surveying, and tracking IT services/resources costs, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCOs).

IT Service Requests Management

  • Troubleshooting, resolving, following up, and escalating service tickets end-to-end (E2E) according to company processes, policies, and tools.
  • Reporting, sizing, and tracking resolution costs.
  • Managing mobile and telecommunication services.
  • Staging and delivering IT equipment to users or premises, such as new mobile devices or laptops (Windows & iOS) and handling access point turnovers.
  • Participating as an individual or team member in local scope projects and implementations, ensuring diligent reporting and tracking.
  • Collaborating with external technical teams (Level 2 / Level 3) to resolve cases or complete projects.
  • Monitoring, upholding, and reporting on risk, compliance, and IT governance matters.

Position Requirements

  • A BSc or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational company focusing on end-users and systems support, IT projects, and technology platform management, such as user management in Azure.
  • Experience with international companies is advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft and Apple operating systems for workstations, Microsoft Directory technologies (AD, DNS, DHCP, Email protocols), cloud technologies (Azure, O365, Apple iCloud), and fundamental network and cybersecurity principles.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills, with a professional demeanor, presence, and proficiency in verbal and written communication.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies, and methods.
  • Professional approach to analyzing, solving, and delivering solutions, along with effective communication of solutions and services.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of modern platforms and technologies, including new consumer technologies and smartphones.
  • Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive attitude towards accountability and optimization of processes and IT service delivery.
