IT Compliance Analyst Position – Nicosia

Our client is looking to hire a dynamic individual for the role of IT Compliance Analyst, based in Nicosia.

The IT Compliance Analyst will review payment scheme bulletins from VISA and MasterCard, ensuring ongoing card scheme compliance on their platform. This role also involves preparing technical requirements for vendors and coordinating with payment schemes and vendors to develop the final solution.

The ideal candidate should be a strong team player with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment.


  • Review payment scheme bulletins and translate scheme requirements into technical solution documents.
  • Liaise with vendors to finalize the technical details.
  • Classify bulletins into E-Commerce, Face-to-Face (F2F), Authorization, or Clearing related categories.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and implement the necessary technical changes.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple requests, projects, and activities, often working under pressure.
  • Manage card payment switch projects from a technology perspective, including requirement gathering, implementation, testing, production deployment, and post-production support.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Understanding of card payment cycles such as authorization (F2F or eCommerce), clearing, and settlement.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with payment scheme monthly releases related to enhancements and compliance in the card payment industry.
  • Excellent planning, reporting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and systems simultaneously.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Greek and English.
