As we continue to expand, we’re looking to hire a full-time Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for our Cyprus office, recognized as a certified Great Place to Work®.

Role: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The CTO at FP Markets will be an experienced leader in charge of driving our technological direction and product innovation. Leading a global team of IT professionals, the CTO will ensure that our technology strategy is both robust and innovative, perfectly aligned with our company’s goals. With the company on a strong growth trajectory, this role will be crucial in scaling operations and accelerating sustainable growth in the coming years.

Reporting to: CEO
Team: 2 direct reports, 30 employees in teams


  • Develop and lead the technology vision and strategy, ensuring it aligns with business goals.
  • Manage the technology infrastructure, drive business transformation, and foster continuous innovation within the company.
  • Deliver key technological projects and products, ensuring the company remains agile with next-generation capabilities.
  • Improve and refine company-wide processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement and maintain strong cybersecurity measures to protect financial data and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Build a unified, trust-based team environment with a shared mission and purpose.
  • Collaborate strategically and operationally with cross-departmental teams to ensure internal alignment.
  • Provide a solid technological architecture and identify suitable IT partners for future innovation.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • Promote a performance-based culture with transparent communication and establish best practices within the technology function.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 5 years as a CIO/CTO or in a similar leadership role within a fintech or software development company, with at least 10 years overall in technology.
  • Proven track record of successful technology implementations and business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in fast-paced fintech environments where technology drives business profitability.
  • Leadership experience in the financial services or e-commerce industry, particularly with retail clients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of software and product development, digitalization, and innovation.
  • Experience as a systems architect is highly valued.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial markets, trading systems, and relevant regulatory requirements in the Forex industry.
  • Experience working in an EMI.
